If you’ve ever daydreamed about sharing breakfast with a herd of giraffes then this is the tour for you. Nestled among 140 acres of lush Kenyan forest, Giraffe Manor is a delightfully unique hotel where you can feast on morning goods in the presence of these gentle giants.
Drift down to the airy serving room and settle at a table laid out for your lavish sunrise feast. As you ease into the day with a fresh pot of coffee, you’ll likely be joined by some of the resident Rothschild’s giraffes, who are prone to poking their elegant long necks in through the windows to say hello. Keep an eye out for cheeky tongues trying to take a taste of the treats – rest assured, they’ll be after the dried grass pellets you’re provided with for them rather than your platter of pancakes!
You might migrate afterwards to the manor’s sun-drenched terrace for a full face-to-face encounter with these magnificent African beasts. Sometimes warthogs will join in the fun, with various other wildlife onsite to also enjoy either close up or from a distance.
