Thailand has a climate which is best described as a tropical monsoon climate. Thailand has a fair amount of sun, a high rate of rainfall and high humidity often making the air sticky. The weather ranges from lows of around 32 degrees through to highs of around 36 degrees.
The rain season of Thailand lasts from May through to September, with the rain normally falling in the afternoon but there are days where the rain pours all day. The best time to visit tends to be from October through to February, where the temperature is not quite as hot and the occasional wind/shower can break up the heat.
