Tour Overview
This tour allows you to enjoy the vibrant colours of Bangkok’s colourful waterways whilst aboard a cruise along the busy canals and Chao Phya River through to the Wat Arun. The tour highlights the difference between old and new, with some of Bangkok’s most honoured temples standing beside warehouses, old houses and new residential blocks (including luxury hotels).
The tour includes stops at Wat Arun and the Royal Barge Museum- the Wat Arun is one of the most recognised buildings in Bangkok, partly due to its 260 foot high pagoda- a walk up the higher levels gives a panoramic view of the city.
The Royal Barge Museum Is home to nine important barges including Suphannahongsa. The Barges were damaged greatly after the 1932 coup, however, the present king restored them to their former heights.
