Tour Overview
Come experience Africa’s exotic animals, set approximately 3 hours from Cape Town. There is the opportunity to view Lions, Cheetahs, Rhinos, Buffalos and many other animals in the Karoo veld.
The journey starts by travelling over the picturesque Bains Kloof Pass. You are then invited to indulge in some snacks and a drink at the Inverdoorn Private Game Reserve; next you head to a 2-hour game drive in an open top 4×4, to see what exotic animals are visible. An experienced game ranger will assist in your pursuit of exotic animals.
After this action packed start, you return to the base camp where a scrumptious buffet lunch will be waiting for you! There is a chance to unwind at the reserve, with the opportunity to enjoy a game of French Boules or to relax around the pool. The Day Safari from Cape Town will end with a journey through the historic Huguenot Tunnel via Worcester & Winelands of Paarl before eventually returning to Cape Town.

The safari day tour from Cape Town departs daily, all year round. Hotel pick-ups commence between 5.45am and 6.45am, exact pick-up times are given when the tour is reconfirmed locally. The tour lasts approximately 11 hours and there is no dress code although, a comfortable pair of shoes and sunglasses are recommended.
