Set in 12 acres of private land within the lush Langata suburb of Nairobi, Giraffe Manor is a unique hotel set in a traditional manor building, with just 10 rooms. The most intriguing part of Giraffe Manor is the resident giraffe that casually reside nearby, expect a friendly welcoming, whether out on the lawn or during breakfast when the giraffe pop their heads through the window to say hello –in hope of a treat!
This unique concept brings you closer to the herd of Rothschild giraffes, which are endangered, but very friendly! Giraffe Manor is an ideal base for adventure, from feeding elephants to fossil hunting and thrilling safaris. Included in your stay at Giraffe Manor is full board accommodation, which includes all meals and most drinks (house wines, spirits, beers and soft drinks, excluding champagne and specially imported wines and spirits).

Rooms
Rooms are given individual names. There are 3 double rooms: Betty, Lynn and Ariene and four double/twin rooms: Daisy, Jack, Marlon and Helen. There is also a twin/double/triple room: Kelly and two suites: Finch Hatton, which is a double/twin/family room sleeping 2 adults and 3 children and the Karen Blixen Suite also sleeps 2 adults and 3 children and is perfect for wheelchair users with a courtyard that opens from the room.
Facilities
Giraffe Manor has a massage therapist on site for those moments where you want to kick back and really relax. Also available is free Wi-Fi, wheelchair access in the Karen Blixen suite and a guest sightseeing vehicle.
Some of the incredible activities that you can embark on at Giraffe Manor include painting in the orchid house, croquet, massages in the potting shed and romantic dinners.
Giraffe Manor is closed in the months of May for maintenance and rainy season is between March to May and mid-October to December.
