Climate

Kenya lies on the equator and so it has a pleasant tropical climate. Kenya has two main weather seasons; a dry season which ranges from June to October, this season is the cold season with temperatures ranging from 24 degrees through to 26 degrees. In these months there is very little rain and so it is not too humid, making it better to visit the beaches of Kenya.

There is also a wet season which runs from November through to May, in these months the temperature ranges from 26 degrees through to 28 degrees.  In November and December there are short rains, which include periods of unpredictable rain, mainly in the late afternoons/evenings. In January and February it doesn’t rain much, however there are short unpredictable bursts. March to May is home to the long rains, where rain pours daily and the days tend to be cloudy.
