The Ambassador Lagoon at the Aquarium is the place to be – you don’t have to be an experienced diver – first timers are welcome too.

Thrill seekers can try one of the most thrilling rides at Aquaventure Waterpark, The Leap Of Faith, which appears almost vertical. The landing from this amazing slide is into shark-infested waters.
5) Laze around in Aquaventure Waterpark
Aquaventure is the No 1. waterpark in the Middle East and one of the best in the world. With 17 hectares of record-breaking rides and slides, thrills and spills that include close encounters with sharks and rays plus the Tower of Neptune and the Tower of Poseidon.
6) Enjoy a different world cuisine without leaving the hotel
Atlantis the Palm has 23 different restaurants to try – each with loads of character and great food, including Chinese, Japanese, Arabian, Lebanese and many have children’s menus too. There is Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen & Bar, which is a gastropub serving tasty British food. On Friday mornings there is an irresistible brunch in Bread Street Kitchen and loads of fun activities for children too.

There are great things to do including the Palm’s Five Fabulous Summer Camp Programmes, the Kids’ Club (for 3-12 years) and the colourful Little Pirates’ Playground. For teenagers there is Club Rush and adults can enjoy some alone time with the babysitting services on offer.
