OVERVIEW

Making up one of the seven emirates, Ras Al Khaimah is set in the most northern area just 45 minutes from Dubai International Airport. Beautiful mountains, red sandy desert, abandoned villages, historical sights and green landscapes separated by creeks and lagoons, this enticing destination certainly pleases the eye. Of course, you will definitely notice the Arabian hospitality wherever you go, making this fascinating destination even more appealing.

Ras Al Khaimah holidays also allow you to dip your toes into Abu Dhabi and Dubai for an even more enriched Arabian holiday. If you want to adventure a little further, the gateway to Oman’s peninsula is also another tempting destination in which to delve into.

Mixing the old with the new, Ras Al Khaimah is fairly modern, but it’s the majestic mountains it backs, which give it a resounding glow of beauty. Given the Trip Advisor certificate of excellence, Jabal Jais is one for the bucket list, measuring 1,910 meters, not only is this mountain the tallest in the UAE but it serves as the border between Oman and UAE.
