El Capitolio
Formally used by the Cuban Government based on the United States Capitol building, until the Cuban revolution of 1959. This stunning piece of neo-classical architecture boasts magnificent artwork inside and contains the 3rd largest indoor statue in the world. El Capitolio is a unique time piece of Cuban history and visiting it in Havana is highly recommended.
Plaza Vieja
Originally used for military exercises, the Plaza Vieja is now transformed into a picturesque old Square with shops, bars and restaurants.
Pico Turquino
Climbing up Pico Turquino should be on your bucket list, as it is the highest point in Cuba offering local history as well as impressive vistas.
Varadero Beach
Rated as the top-ranking beach in Cuba, Varadero beach offers 20 km of pearly white sand against an azure blue Ocean. However, there is more to this beach than meets the eye, with its close proximity of over 50 shops, ancient caves and a lush tropical park.
Valle de Vinales
Escape the brightly coloured Cuban architecture and head to Valle De Vinales, a striking landscape of rugged mountains and rocky outcrops. Valle de Vinales is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon in Cuba, learning about the production of tobacco, which still exists today.
Drive along the Malecón
The Malecón is an 8 km sea drive route along the coast of Havana. Watch the sunrise as you drive through this iconic detour while spotting the retro cars from the 50’s and 60’s.
