Room Types

All villas at Intercontinental Bora Bora & Thalasso Spa are traditionally styled with thatched roofs and outside have a sizeable sun deck and shaded terrace area with fresh water shower. Some of the villas have their own pools and all have private access into the crystal clear lagoon waters. Inside, the villas are very stylish and contemporarily furnished with touches of Polynesian charm including bamboo and pandanus weaving. The villas have high roofs lined with wood and each has a spacious living area with sofa bed and armchairs. The glass-bottom coffee table reveals the wealth of marine life in the lagoon below. There are 2 flat screen satellite TVs, a Bose sound system, CD and DVD. You can relax with drinks from the mini bar or tea and coffee making facilities. For comfort, the villas are fitted with eco-friendly deep sea water air conditioning and ceiling fans. In the bathrooms, the bathtubs have their own picture window with great views – luxury bath toiletries are provided. There is complimentary Wi-Fi throughout.

Pool Premium Over Water Villa

This stunning villa has views over the lagoon to the horizon and these can be enjoyed from the sun loungers on the spacious deck, in your private plunge pool, by stepping down into the lagoon or through the large picture windows in the villa. The 149 sq m villa is traditionally styled with a pitched wood lined roof and beautifully spacious. There is a comfortable living area with sofa and armchairs plus a dining table and the soft furnishings are in pale turquoise to mirror the colour of the lagoon. There is a separate bedroom with king size bed and the stylish bathroom has a bathtub with a view of the lagoon too!
Emerald Over Water Villa

With wonderful views of the island's tropical greenery that is fringed by the white sand beach, this comfortable villa has a floor area of 95 sq m. Outside there is an attractive shaded terrace and spacious sun deck with sun loungers at the ready! There is direct access into the warm waters of the lagoon and there is a fresh water shower on the deck. Inside there is generously sized living area with double sofa bed and armchairs and there are two flat screen TVs in the villa. There is a separate bedroom with king size bed (twin beds are available too) and the bathroom has double vanity basins, a sumptuous bathtub and separate walk-in shower. This villa is ideal for up to three adults or two adults and two children aged under 15 years. This type of villa is available with a variety of beautiful views including Sapphire Over Water Villa, which overlooks the lagoon, Diamond Over Water Villa, which faces the main island of Bora Bora and the Diamond Otemanu Over Water Villa that is facing Mt Otemanu on Bora Bora.
Sapphire Over Water

The stylish Sapphire Over Water Villa overlooks the lagoon from its spacious 30 sq m terrace and picture windows. Contemporarily designed with Polynesian touches, this beautiful villa has a spacious living area (95 sq m) with comfortable chairs and glass coffee table revealing the marine life in the lagoon below. Available with either a king size bed or twin beds, this villa has a spacious bathroom with a bath tub with picture window overlooking the lagoon, twin vanity basins and a walk-in shower with an adjacent dressing room.
Diamond Over Water Villa

This villa has tremendous views of the main island of Bora Bora from its spacious furnished terrace. (30 sq m). The villa (90 sq m) is beautifully decorated with colourful Polynesian touches and has a comfortable living area with a sofa bed, feature glass coffee table for a fantastic view of the marine life below. Available with either a beautiful king size bed or twin beds, there is a spacious bathroom with bathtub, walk-in shower and twin vanity basins. There is an adjacent dressing room. The maximum occupancy for this villa is three adults or two adults and two children.
Diamond Otemanu Over Water Villa

With views of the distinctively shaped Mt Otemanu on Bora Bora, this villa offers really comfortable accommodation. Outside there is a spacious furnished terrace, whilst inside the living room is comfortable with sofa bed, chairs and glass coffee table with views down into the lagoon waters. There is either a king size or twin beds and the stylish bathroom has a bathtub by a picture window with views of the lagoon. There is also a walk-in shower, twin vanity basins and dressing room.
Brando Suite Bora Bora (one bedroom)

With wonderful views from the spacious sun deck, this beautiful suite offers luxurious and relaxing living (217 sq m). There is a shaded terrace and sundeck with sun loungers and an adjacent private pool. Close to the pool is the outdoor fresh water shower. Inside is contemporarily designed with touches of Polynesian crafts and art. There is a comfortable living area with a sofa bed and armchairs and a dining table. There is a beautiful separate bedroom with a king size bed and the stylish bathroom has dual vanity basins a bathtub with a glorious view and separate walk-in shower. This accommodation is for up to three adults or two adults and two children for a family getaway in Bora Bora.
Brando Suite Bora Bora (two bedrooms)

This suite is the most stunning suite and is amazingly spacious (322 sq m). Outside there is a lovely sun deck with private infinity pool and direct access into the waters of the lagoon. Inside is very modern and luxurious with a large, comfortable living area with a double sofa bed, armchairs and dining table. There are two bedrooms, each with a king size bed and two bathrooms with twin vanity basins, a bathtub and separate shower. The maximum occupancy is four adults and four children under 15 years.

Facilities

The InterContinental Bora Bora & Thalasso Spa offers guests a wonderful selection of sports, activities and day trips as well as the most tranquil location with its main swimming pool and private beach for simply relaxing and spending quality time together. The spa is very special as it was the first in the South Pacific to introduce thalasso therapy – therapies using seawater so that the body can benefit from the minerals it contains.

For those who want to make the most of the location there are pedaloes, kayaks and stand up pedal boards – great for family fun! There is great snorkeling and a Top Dive centre on site and there is the opportunity to enjoy sea fishing too. If you want to enjoy a taste of Polynesian culture there are cookery classes and fun sessions to learn how to make a hat or crown from coconut fronds!

If you enjoy sport and keeping well toned, there is a fitness centre and tennis courts. For fun exploring the local vicinity, bikes are a great option.

The Lagoonarium is unbelievable. This protected ocean habitat has more than 200 marine species including stingrays that it is possible to swim alongside!

If you are keen to explore Bora Bora, there are all types of excursions to enjoy to the rain forest, diving expeditions, ATV rides and fun shopping trips.

Restaurants

Enjoy fabulous food during your holiday and some very special moments. The InterContinental has three beautiful restaurants and three attractive bars with mixologists for creating the perfect cocktails! If you want to start your day in grand style, why not have your breakfast delivered to your villa by outrigger canoe! You can enjoy a 'full American' in the privacy of your sun deck – and enjoy a go in the outrigger too! If you have a family celebration or are planning the most romantic dinner for two, the chefs at the hotel can prepare the most stunning four course meal for you with Champagne. The meal can be enjoyed in several different locations or in the privacy of your villa.

Sands

This lovely restaurant is situated in an open-air pavilion on the beach and enjoys panoramic views of the lagoon. Relaxed and casual, the restaurant is open all day for breakfast and lunch – snacks and salads. Guests can enjoy cocktails as the sun sinks and for dinner there are some fabulous local and international dishes with an Asian twist. Once a week there is a beach barbecue – often with live music too.
Reef

This attractive restaurant is on an outdoor terrace overlooking the floodlit Lagoonarium. The food is wonderful – French bistro style and once a week there is a Polynesian buffet with fun entertainment by Polynesian musicians and dancers.
Le Coriail

Romantic, exclusive and very intimate, this beautiful restaurant offers gourmet dining with classic French cuisine and a sizeable wine cellar for perfect pairing.
