Superior Double
These attractive rooms are located on floors 1- 4 and some have a sea view and others a city view. With a floor area of 27m² they are available with either a double or twin beds. -
Superior Atrium View
With an attractive view over the hotel's Atrium, these rooms offer comfortable living. They have a floor area of 22m² and are available with either one double or twin beds. -
Family Room
With views over Reykjavik, these stylish rooms are also spacious with 30m² of floor area. These rooms have either one double and one single bed or three singles and also have a work desk and attractive living area. -
Executive Room
These comfortable rooms are situated on floors 6- 10 and offer guests great views of the city. These generously sized rooms (30m²) are available with one or two double beds. -
Junior Suite
Situated on the 11th floor of the hotel, these beautiful suites really are perfect for relaxing in after time out and about exploring! With 40m² of floor area, there is a comfortable living area with sofa. The suites are available either with two double beds or one large double and one standard double bed. In the attractively decorated bathroom there is a spa bath and guests in this room enjoy complimentary entrance to the hotel's gum and Spa. Interconnecting suites are available.
Facilities
The hotel has a shuttle bus service to the city centre that operates in both directions, three times a day. There is certainly plenty to enjoy with easy reach and this includes the Laugardalslaurg swimming pool, the Perlan Dome, which is futuristic looking and has a revolving dome with viewing platform with panoramic views and museums that portray the story of the Vikings.

The Grand Brasserie
With a passion for good food made with the finest fresh ingredients and a highly respected Cordon Bleu Chef at the helm, the Grand Brasserie is aptly named!
Innovatively decorated with some side alcoves and atmospheric purple highlights, the restaurant has pale wood floors and stylish tables and chairs. The menu offers Icelandic and Nordic cuisine – with a few international favourites. There are plenty of fish options including a really excellent fish soup and international dishes include Grand Burgers and lamb shanks. There is a tempting range of desserts too. -
Torfastofa Lounge
Comfortable with a welcoming ambience, this lounge is open daily and serves light meals and snacks as well as wines and cocktails. Happy hour from 5-7 pm. The perfect place to unwind and relax.

MôgarÔur Bar
Scandinavian style bar and lounge at Grand Hotel Reykjavík representing a theme of Nordic mythology with symbols from Iceland‘s dramatic nature with its glass ceiling and glass flooring representing the ice. Great venue for welcome drinks and light bites.
