Room Types
There are 82 stylish suites to choose from at Carlisle Bay, some more suited to couples and some ideal for families. All rooms overlook the ocean and a number of them lead right onto the beach for easy access to the glistening Caribbean.

Couples are sure to enjoy spending their Antiguan sojourn in one of the spacious 72sqm Garden Suites, which feature an open-plan living room and bedroom with a plush king-sized bed.

Families will feel right at home in one of the Beach Balcony Suites. These boast two bedrooms (one with a king-sized bed, one with two twin beds), with the balcony of the master bedroom offering delightful views of the sea. Cribs are available for infants.

Alternatively families may prefer a Beach Terrace Suite, which has the same configuration but provides you with direct beach access.

Couples celebrating a special occasion will love to spend their visit in a Bay Suite, which is located on the oceanfront and features an array of added luxuries including Temple Spa luxury bath products, a Vodka and Rum bar and private butler service.

The Ocean suites measure 72 sq. meters and offer a quiet oasis with modern amenities in this split-level suite. Featuring an open-plan sitting room with sliding glass doors that lead out to the furnished terrace with ocean views.

There are two different types of the Carlisle Suites, both types measure around 180 sq. meters and include 3 en suite bedrooms and large private terraces. The Carlisle Suites are perfect for families or groups of 6 enjoying a Caribbean holiday. Suite A offers 3 bedrooms, two with king size beds and one with twin beds. This suite also compromises of a sitting room, kitchen and double width balcony. Suite B also has three bedrooms, two with king size beds and one with twin beds. This suite offers a large sitting room with beachfront views.
Facilities
Another idyllic way to unwind is with a visit to the two-floor Blue Spa, with its wet room, sauna and 6 treatment rooms (one of them especially designed for couples). Here you can indulge in a variety of soothing and healing treatments ranging from massages to facials and body scrubs. There is also a hair and beauty salon and a juice bar, not to mention a Yoga Pavilion – but if you want to try something a little more upbeat why not arrange a game of tennis on one of the resort’s 9 courts (which can be booked through the spa) or go for an invigorating work-out in the well-equipped gym?
There are plenty of other things to do during your stay at Carlisle Bay. While the kids enjoy the fun-filled activities provided by the Cool Kids Club – which include arts and crafts, playing in the paddling pool and sand pit and going lizard hunting – grown-ups can have their own fun trying out the various water sports on offer (such as kayaking, windsurfing and paddle boarding), going scuba diving or savouring a scenic stroll along a nature trail.
Restaurants
There are four outstanding restaurants at Carlisle Bay, guaranteed to tantalise your taste buds with a variety of global cuisines, ranging from local delicacies to the exotic flavours of the Far East. Looking for a place to enjoy a relaxed drink or perhaps a nightcap? Why not try Indigo Bar, a laidback joint where you can recline on comfy sofas and sip a fruit punch or a cocktail while savouring the convivial atmosphere and good conversation. Alternatively you may want to grab a chair at the Coconut Grove, an ideal spot for couples thanks to its quiet location. This is also a great venue for lingering over a delicious afternoon tea.

Head to Indigo on the Beach for a relaxed meal which you can enjoy barefoot while refreshing sea breezes comb their fingers through your hair and the sea sparkles before you. The menu features a variety of healthy but flavourful dishes and there are flexible menus for children to make their dining experience just as pleasant as your own.

On the other end of the spectrum you have the more upmarket and romantic East, which is a popular dinner spot for couples with its swanky dark-wood and fuchsia décor and delectable menu of Indonesian, Thai and Japanese dishes. Don’t forget to make a reservation!

Serving Italian specialities from stone-oven pizzas, classic Italian dishes, salads, antipasti and homemade gelato. Ottimo! is situated overlooking the pool and is a popular restaurant for families.

The Jetty Grill is an adults-only restaurant set besides the Caribbean on the white pearly sands. Serving grilled meats, fresh seafood and a selection of fine wines.
