OVERVIEW

Phuket is certainly known for its gorgeous beaches, which in turn make a home for luxury spa resorts, restaurants, a lively nightlife and a terrain of lush tropical jungle. Phuket provides a blissful holiday for couples and families, with many things to do and plenty of points of interest to explore.

If you are looking to spend your Phuket holiday on the beach, we wouldn’t blame you! With soft powdery sands and clear azure waters, you can rest assure that Phuket serves as a splendid paradise oasis in which to relax and recuperate. If you do get tempted to test the waters, there are plenty of water activities to take up your spare time. Boat tours, scuba diving and snorkelling are among the most popular things to do on the Island. As seen in many glossy holiday brochures, the limestone formations, mystical caves and rugged mountains must be seen by boat through the lush emerald waters.

Those who travel to seek our splendid vistas and cultural attractions will love Phuket’s diverse terrain. Khao Rang Hill viewpoint, Karon viewpoint, Monkey hill, Wat Chalong, Phuket big Buddha and the Gibbon Rehabilitation project are all incredible things to see while in Phuket.

Treat yourself to a little retail therapy while in Phuket, from bustling open-aire village food markets, night markets, street stalls and local shops, to upmarket department shopping malls.

Whether you want to taste traditions of Thailand locally or at a luxury resort, you won’t be disappointed. Phuket offers a divine choice of restaurants to ignite your taste buds on a journey through modern and ancient Thailand. Restaurants in Phuket are modern with air conditioning.

One great reason to explore Phuket has to be its prime location to its neighboring islands. Phi Phi Island, Phang Nga Bay, James Bond Island, Similan Islands, Coral Island, Koh Bon and Racha Island are all at your fingertips.

Climate

Phuket is blessed with warm temperatures all year round, although there is a monsoon period in the range of a few months from June to October, where heavy rainfall is likely. Phucket’s dry period isn’t as warm as the wet season, but still boasts temperatures in the high 20s. December through to March are the months seen as the dry season, which is high season for tourists with pleasant blue skies and gentle sea breezes.
