Iguana Crossing Boutique Hotel is just two years old and is the only ecological hotel in the Galapagos Islands built to a high standard using sustainable ecological technology and the result is one of the most luxurious and comfortable hotels on the islands which because of its position at the end of the road leading to the beach ensures peace.

Room Types

Rooms at this attractive hotel are dramatically large offering guests’ comfortable accommodation. The rooms are tiled with dark wood furniture, crisp white linen and exotically coloured soft furnishings. Rooms have a comfortable king size bed and air conditioning. There is flat screen TV and some rooms have a writing desk as well as comfortable chairs in the living area. In the bathrooms there are self closing showers and sinks these are fitted with an ecological system for saving water.
  • Master Suite

    This beautifully spacious room measuring 55m²is dominated by there picturesque views of the rolling surf. There is a comfortable king size bed and in the living area there are comfortable armchairs, a table and day bed. Out on the attractive terrace there is a wooden tables and chairs for relaxing and admiring the wonderful view. There is plenty of room for an extra bed for a child.
  • Junior Suite

    These gorgeous rooms have a curved balcony with glass panels and wooden furniture. Inside the 47m² room there is a lovely king size bed and comfortable armchairs and table, plus a day bed. An extra bed for a child can be organised.
  • Volcano Suite

    Available with either a king size or twin beds, the Volcano Suites are attractive with dark wood furniture, white linen and earthy tones for pillows and throws. The floor area is 32m² so there is room for a working desk too.
  • Ocean View

    With stunning views over the Ocean, these 32m² rooms are adaptable as they have the choice of one kingsize bed or two full beds so are perfect for families. There is a small but lovely glass panelled balcony with chairs for enjoy the sea view.

Facilities

Iguana Crossing Boutique Hotel is really well placed, just minutes from the beach and the town. There is a beautiful infinity pool and sizeable terrace for relaxing moments which is perfect for watching the iguanas in action. On the main terrace there is a Jacuzzi too whilst inside there is a games room with table tennis. There is a selection of massages that can be enjoyed either in your room or on the beach – which is novel and rather special. The views from the roof deck are spectacular.

The hotel is perfectly situated for those who want to enjoy some good snorkelling or take one of the tours of Galapagos, Volcano Sierra Negra or the Wall of Tears.

Restaurants

The Chefs at Iguana Crossing really do enjoy culinary art and specialise in making regional dishes including sanocoho (a traditional Ecuadorian soup made with fish and Yucca) and using the famous local shrimps. The Chefs enjoy creating fusion dishes using freshly caught fish and vegetables and fruits grown in the hotel’s own hacienda which also produces the coffee and milk. They have a very special grill hewn out of lava rock which they use with great success.

There is a good bar too where you can enjoy really good cocktails with an indulgent slice of molten lava cake.
  • Isabela Restaurant

    With its dark wood furniture, mellow floor tiles, crisp white table linen and huge picture windows with views of twinkling lights and stars, the Isabela Restaurant is the perfect setting for a fine dining experience.
