Day 1: Hanoi to Halong Bay
From Hanoi you will transfer to Halong Bay, which takes between 3.5 and 4 hours. Once arrived, you will board the traditional junk boat for your overnight cruise around the breathtaking Halong Bay. Drop your bags on your cabin floor, enjoy a buffet lunch while you sail southeast, passing beautiful islands such as Trong Mai Islet, Ngon Tay Islet, Con Coc Islet and the Cua Van Floating Culture Centre. Your first adventure is exploring Trinh Nu Cave by kayaking there to see the stalactites and stalagmites, while having time after for either a swim in the emerald waters or sunbathing on the private sandy beach. After relaxation, return back to your junk boat for happy hour at the bar and partake in a fun Masterchef ‘Halong Bay Edition’ with fruit carving demonstrations. Head back to your cabin to freshen up before heading to dinner and enjoying the evening at your leisure.
Day 2: Halong Bay to Hanoi
In the morning there is the option to enjoy an early morning t’ai chi lesson on the sundeck before breakfast. After, cruise towards the heart of Halong Bay to discover Sung Sot Cave – also known as ‘Surprise Cave’ – the largest cave in Halong Bay with a 500-metre paved passageway. Be sure to bring your camera along to capture the magnificent stalactites and stalagmites. Head back to the boat for a buffet lunch as you sail back to the harbour, passing gorgeous natural beauty such as Lom Bo Island, Trong Mai Islet and Ba Hang fishing village. You will disembark at Tuan Cahu where you will head to your next destination.
