Tour Overview
The journey introduces you to the rural charms of Bali taking you through the Balinese countryside. Here you can take a short walk through rice fields, coconut palms and plantations full of coffee, vanilla and cloves. There is then an opportunity to refresh in a traditional Balinese pavilion and sample some Indonesian fried tapioca and sweet potato.
The tour continue with a trip to the stunning Royal Temple of Mengwi, the temple is a magnificent piece of historic architecture and is surrounded by a moat and carved wooden gates. After spending as long as needed to explore the beauty, there is a trip to the sacred Monkey Forest, it is home to three troupes of long tailed Balinese Macaques- totalling 200 monkeys that are guaranteed to make you smile!
The tour finishes with a visit to Tanah Lot where the famous sea temple is visible, this temple is set on an outcrop of lava rock, 200 metres off shore. The sunset that can be seen here behind the towers of the temple, is the perfect way to end the day.

The Bali Monkey Forest tour takes place daily, all year round. The tour commences at 2.00pm, with hotel pick up commencing one hour before the start time; the tour lasts approximately 5.5 hours. The dress code is casual, and you should dress according to the weather for that day. It is recommended that you take a sunhat and a bottle of water.
