Facilities
As a mountain resort, there’s a host of experiences and packages for those that love the white stuff. Get your fill of powder thrills with experienced ski instructors, who’ll take you seasonal free riding and off-piste skiing. Or opt for a deep snow adventure featuring chauffeured Porsche and SnowCat rides, snowshoe hiking, avalanche training, mulled wine and a four-course meal. If you’d rather stay warm, keep your eyes peeled for gourmet, couples and spa packages too.
The adventurous will love being located in the SkiArena Andermatt-Sedrun, a region which offers around 120 km of slopes that are perfect for skiing or sledging. In summer, the resort is a haven for hikers, bikers and golfers — with the latter group able to tackle an 18-hole championship course just minutes from the hotel. Oh and the famous Glacier-Express railway also stops in Andermatt.
After all the excitement, you can reward yourself with a day at the spa and health club. As well as a 350-metre indoor swimming pool, you can take a dip outdoors in a second 12-metre pool, season permitting.
