Room Types

Medhufushi boasts a grand total of 112 stunning villas, nestled across 10 lush hectares of land or poised above the lagoon. Each one is thoughtfully designed with traditional accents and they are all equipped with must-have modern amenities such as a flat-screen TV and DVD player, a mini bar and plush four-poster king-sized or twin beds.

Beach Villas

Tucked away among sea cabbage and hibiscus on the milk-white sands of the shoreline, these villas boast private wooden sundecks with seating and a luxurious bathroom complete with outdoor shower. Semi-detached Beach Villas with connecting doors are also available, offering even more space.
Beach Villa Suite

Consisting of two impeccably furnished Beach Villas linked by a spacious outdoor seating area, these suites boast two bedrooms, making them an ideal option for families or groups of friends.
Semi-Detached Beach Villa

Placed on the white sandy beach, these semi-detatched Beach Villas offer ample space with 65 sqm of opulent living, from the private outdoor veranda with loungers, rain shower and Maldivian swing to the interior space with comfy king poster bed and a range of amenities including TV, DVD/CD player, coffee and tea making facilities and bathrobes.
Water Villa

Ideally situated above the sparkling waters of the lagoon, these sunrise or sunset-facing villas offer romantic views and direct access to the water via your private sundeck. They also boast gleaming modern bathrooms with rain showers and separate tubs, not to mention floor-to-ceiling windows and such desirable amenities as an espresso machine.
Lagoon Suites

The most lavish form of accommodation at the resort, these spectacular suites offer the ultimate in luxury and seclusion. Freestanding villas, which stand poised above the lagoon, they are accessible only by dhoni and consist of a tastefully furnished bedroom, a luxurious bathroom with Jacuzzi and outdoor shower, and a private furnished sundeck.

Make your way to the breathtaking over-water Medhufushi spa for an unforgettable pampering at the hands of highly skilled therapists. The impressive menu includes a variety of massages, wraps, facials and other beauty treatments, one of the highlights of which is the signature 90-minute Medhufushi Fusion massage.

This luxury Maldives resort is also home to the Werner Lau Diving Centre, which offers an amazing selection of morning dives, full-day excursions, half-day excursions and night dives. Different courses are also available for those wanting to learn how to scuba dive, or who already have some experience but want to improve their diving skills.

Another great way to enjoy the water is by heading to the Deep Blue Watersports Centre, where you can select from a wide range of thrilling activities, ranging from windsurfing and kayaking to jet skiing, catamaran sailing and kitesurfing.

Various fun-filled excursions are available at the resort too, such as deep-sea fishing, dolphin watching and snorkeling, but if you just want to relax you can always recline by the resort’s sparkling infinity-edge pool, located beside the lagoon.

Malaafaiy Restaurant

Boasting an evocative name that translates as ‘mermaid’, this charming poolside restaurant dishes up resplendent buffet meals three times daily. Each meal features a wealth of enticing flavours hailing from countries and cultures across the globe.
Alfresco Restaurant

Situated in the resort’s stunning pyramid-shaped over-water pavilion you will find Alfresco, which provides you with sweeping ocean views and serves as an ideal venue in which to savour tasty à la carte dishes by day or night.
Vilu Bar

Drinks and snacks can be enjoyed at Vihu Bar, a relaxed watering hole where you can also play darts and billiards, or curl up with a good book. Special activities, including Maldivian drumming and crab racing, are held here.
