Overview
The island of Matamanoa lies 30 km west of Nadi International Airport and is truly stunning. There is an extinct volcanic cone rising from the ocean, which is a marine sanctuary. The island is covered with palm trees and natural bush vegetation and it is fringed by beautiful, sandy beaches with the ocean and coral reefs beyond. Beach Front Villa
There are just nine of these beautifully secluded villas overlooking the private North Beach with panoramic views of the ocean. Each is accessed via a private walkway. Outside the villa is a beautiful private plunge pool and thatched gazebo with double day bed and there is an outdoor shower. Each 57m² villa has split level rooms inside with a beautiful living area on the lower level and spacious bedroom area with super king size bed on the higher level. The living area has a comfortable sofa, armchairs and coffee table plus a useful work top with sink and fridge underneath for preparing food. On the upper level there is also a stylish bathroom with granite topped vanity unit and walk in shower. -
Beach Front Bure
Built in the traditional style with a high vaulted ceiling with thick wooden beams and the ceiling in between the beams is decorated with intricate tapa decoration, this bure (54m²) is really special. There is a spacious lounge area with sofa and armchairs and a sink and fridge. The lovely bedroom area is complete with king size bed. The elegant bathroom has a walk-in shower. Outside the bure, there is a lovely plunge pool and a thatched gazebo close by with double day bed. -
Resort Room
This delightful studio style accommodation (24m²) is painted in navy and white on the outside and has a lovely covered terrace with table and chairs. Inside, the ceiling is decorated with tapa decoration and some of the motifs are used as decoration on handles etc. There is beautiful dark wood furniture throughout including a magnificent hand carved mahogany headboard for the bed. There is a lounge area with comfortable seating and a coffee table and there is a king size bed and writing desk. In the bathroom there are twin vanity basins and a walk-in shower. The Garden Rooms are situated close to the main building with its pool and sun terraces.
Facilities
If you enjoy water sports, there are plenty to enjoy that are complimentary and these include snorkeling and canoeing. There are beach games to enjoy too with petanque, cricket and soccer amongst the favourites. Immerse yourself in Fijian culture with lessons on coconut husking how to tie a sulu, green coconut tasting and basketwork. There is the chance to learn a little Fijian too or try your hand at coconut bowling!

This beautiful restaurant has wonderful ocean views to be enjoyed all day through. A full American Breakfast is served during the morning, whilst a lunch there is the choice of a la carte or a selection of 'daily specials' chalked on the blackboard. These include several pasta options each day.
