Room Types

The setting for the Faarufushi Resort is idyllic for a wonderfully relaxing holiday for couples, families and friends. The 80 beautiful villas have been designed to blend in with their wonderful natural surroundings that include lush vegetation, silky white sands and the azure waters of the Raa Atoll. The furnishings in each are minimalistic, the colour palette muted and the picture windows huge, so that the true beauty of this incredible location can be enjoyed. Each villa has a spacious shaded outdoor living area with sun loungers, day bed, table and chairs. Indoors, the living area has a comfortable sofa and rocking chair and there is a flat screen IP TV and blue tooth connectivity. For extra comfort there is a tea and coffee making machine, espresso maker, mini bar large ceiling fans and air conditioning. There is a comfortable king size bed that is positioned to enjoy the stunning view of the ocean. The bathroom is sizeable with both a bathtub and separate shower and there is an additional rain shower outside on the deck. Gowns, slippers and toiletries are provided plus a beach bag and flip-flops ready for the beach. Guests can also enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi to stay connected.

Beach bungalow

Positioned just footsteps from the fine white sands and with a stunning view of the beach and lagoon to enjoy from both the living area and the bed, this bungalow (117 sq m) is conducive to sweet dreams! There are floor to ceiling windows that open onto the private furnished wooden terrace, which has sun loungers and a very tempting day bed. Inside is styled with light wood floors and lofty pitched ceiling that are complemented by soft furnishings in muted tones. There is a comfortable sofa and rocking chair for relaxing moments and a lovely king size bed. There is a shower on the deck and a spacious bathroom with both shower and bathtub.
Beach Retreat with Pool

With direct access to the fine white pristine beach, this is a truly relaxing retreat with 192 sq m of floor area. Outside there is a large shaded deck area with day bed and sun loungers plus table and chairs, which overlook the mosaic tiled infinity pool, which stands between you and the beach. Inside there is a light wood floor and wood-lined pitched roof and gorgeous views of the beach with the sea beyond. There is a king sized bed and living area with sofa, rocking chair and an attractive air-conditioned bathroom.
Ocean Retreat with Pool

These gorgeous overwater villas (163 sq m) are strung along the jetty and have floor to ceiling windows that maximize on the sensational panoramic views of the lagoon. These hideaways are romantic for couples and tranquil for families and encourage relaxation in the bathtub, on the sun loungers or in the pool. There is direct lagoon access too. Inside there are vaulted wooden ceilings and floors, a living area with sofa and rocking chair, a king size bed and the most beautiful bathroom with a huge window with the bathtub centrally positioned to command a great view! Outside on the furnished deck, there is a rain shower, table and chairs and sunbeds and a private mosaic-lined infinity pool.
Ocean Suite with Pool

This stunning over water suite (227m) is situated at the end of the jetty. There are just a few of these beautiful suites, which have floor to ceiling windows, wooden floors and pitched wood lined roofs. There is a comfortable living area with sofa, rocking chair and attractive dining area. There is a beautiful king size bed and separate air-conditioned bathroom. Made for outdoor living, there’s a furnished deck area and mosaic tiled infinity pool plus direct access to the lagoon. To encourage you to enjoy this fabulous location as the island has its own a coral reef, scuba diving equipment is provided.
Island Residence with Pool

Situated in a prime location on the northwestern shore of the island, this truly magnificent residence (331 sq m) offers the ultimate holiday getaway. Situated on the fringes of the beach and with some lush greenery, the residence has direct beach access. Outside there is a shaded wooden deck area for the most perfect Island living experience, with sun loungers, day bed and dining area. Just a few steps away is the beautiful and very tempting infinity pool. The Residence is light and bright inside as there are large floor to ceiling windows – each with a wonderful view to simply soak up and enjoy. There is a living area with sofa, armchairs and rocking chair and an indoor dining area too. The bedroom with comfortable king size is totally separate as is the bathroom which has both walk-in shower and bathtub. To encourage you to discover the fascinating underwater world just a short distance away, scuba diving equipment is provided.

Facilities

Faarufushi is a small island in the archipelago of the northern Raa atoll. Completely encircled by a coral reef that is very rich in marine life. Being in such a stunning location, the beautiful waters of the Raa Atoll and the Indian Ocean beyond are there to be enjoyed. There is a PADI dive school with lessons available for all abilities so that everyone can enjoy the trill of exploring life under the waves, whilst there are a variety of boat trips for dolphin spotting and island hopping and the chance to enjoy sailing at sunset.

Your stay on this picture-perfect island will be full of memories and experiences. It is the perfect place to relax, do very little and simply enjoy each other's company. The Nika Spa is snuggled amongst lush vegetation with very private treatment rooms, two plunge pools, steam room and an attractive relaxation area. There is yoga and a gym and a superb resort infinity pool which has a large terrace and sun loungers.

Restaurants

Making the most of the idyllic location at Faarufushi. The restaurants each offer wonderful views as well as good food! Boli is the casual bar that is situated next to Eclipse and is a great place to relax over a hand crafted cocktail, hand picked wine or a gin or rum from the impressive selection – especially at sunset which is amazingly beautiful each evening.

Iru

Enjoy great al fresco dining in the shade of the coconut palms or indoors if you prefer – either way, you have terrific ocean and lagoon views to enjoy as well as a delicious meal and the restaurant overlooks the pool too. Iru offers all day dining and tempts diners with its generous buffets or excellent a la carte service. The day begins with breakfast – with a great range of healthy options - and lunch and dinner.
Sangu

There is a beautiful ocean view as far as the eye can see from the Sangu Bar which is situated close to the pool and beach so it is possible to dine with your toes in the water whilst your eye. Open each day until 5.00 p.m. serving light meals it is the perfect place for sundowners too.
Athiri

Casual beach dining at its best in a relaxed atmosphere, this restaurant is situated next to the gym and water sports centre and is the perfect place to enjoy a break in activities for a good coffee or cool long drink. There is a great snack menu that includes tapas, panini and bagels and wood-fired pizza.
Eclipse

This crescent shaped over water restaurant is the signature restaurant and has stunning views of the ocean that stretch to the horizon. There are tables both inside and outside tables and an array of gourmet European dishes to enjoy – each with an Asian twist.
