Overview
Ceylon Tea Trails comprises of five restored colonial tea planters’ residences with period furnishings, gracious butler services and gourmet cuisine, which together make it the perfect all inclusive holiday. Each room is unique and has a wonderful ambience that exudes the history and romance of the region. Guests can learn how to made tea by the resident tea planter, go on scenic walking trails through the estate and enjoy afternoon high tea in the lush gardens.

Luxury Room
The main feature in this beautiful room (40 sq m) is the king size four-poster bed with sheer drapes. The teak wooden furniture is magnificent and enhanced by the white, coffee and deep reds of the soft furnishings. By the window there are comfortable chairs for enjoying the view or curling up with a good book with the thought of calling the butler to bring afternoon tea. The elegant bathroom has a deep free standing bathtub, a walk-in shower and twin vanity basins. -
Garden Suite
This beautiful suite (50 sq m) has the bonus of its own garden, which is perfect for relaxing in and enjoying al fresco meals. Inside, the colour palette of crisp white and deep turquoise really complements the rich colour of the teak furniture. There are comfortable chairs with foot stools and a writing desk and a comfortable king size bed. The attractive bathroom has a bathtub, walk in shower and twin vanity basins. -
Master Suite
With 70 square metres of floor space, these suites are spacious and beautifully styled with teak furniture and a four-poster bed with sheer drapes and a beautifully carved headboard and footboard. In the bedroom there are also comfortable armchairs. There is a separate living room with a beautiful pale green suite with sofa and armchairs, writing desk and open fire for cooler evenings. -
Owner's Cottage
Situated amongst the trees and separate from the other buildings, this property (180 sq m) is absolutely magnificent as it overlooks the tea fields and lake. Inside there is a beautiful living room with pale green velvet lounge suite, writing desk, coffee table and beautiful open fireplace. The separate bedroom has a four poster king size bed and reading corner with armchairs and table and the bathroom has a free standing bath tub with a wonderful view to enjoy as you relax! There is also a walk-in shower and twin vanity basins. Outside there is a furnished verandah that is the perfect setting for simply enjoying the panoramic views.
Facilities
There is plenty of opportunity to enjoy hiking, boating and cycling (bikes are provided) and there are various excursions to a local tea factory and tourist highlights including the island's highest town – Nuwara Eliya, which is about two hours away.
