    Escape civilization and head in the direction of the natural landscapes and wilderness of Alaska and Yukon. Discover a whole new universe of world wonders, quaint towns, glorious mountains, deep gorges and magnificent scenic railway routes.

    Anchorage is a truly wonderful port, spend your time on land skijoring, spotting deer, watching the northern lights or dipping in an out of small coffee shops. There are many exciting things to do while docked at Anchorage such as visiting Alaska Zoo, go fishing on Goose Lake or trek the Thunderbird Falls.

    Ketchikan is a quaint town that clings on to the banks of the Tongass Narrows, backed by marvelous green mountains. Spend your afternoon browsing the historic Creek Street; a boardwalk built over the Ketchikan Creek, lined with souvenir shops, local art and seafood restaurants.

    Seattle combines gorgeous natural landscapes with man-made high-rise buildings and modern cityscapes. Iconic attractions such as the waterfront, Space Needle, Chihuly Garden and Glass and Pike Place Market will easily fill your time while docked in Seattle.

    Victoria British Columbia is heavily influenced by British culture, and you can find yourself relishing on afternoon tea and pastry delights before you head off sightseeing the Victorian architecture. The famous Butchart Gardens is a wonderful place to spend a few Zen hours in the sunshine, whether it be with your family or loved ones. If you’re one to bring back a few souvenirs, the Market Square is the perfect place to go, with over 35 shops, restaurants and clubs.

Ships

Holland America Line has a fleet of 13 ships, all offering a plethora of culinary experiences. There are 8 dining experiences to endeavor as well as 24-hour in-room dining and light bite options. The main dining room is open for breakfast, leisurely lunch and a set five-course dinner service. There are two grills on board as well as Canaletto; an Italian restaurant, while Asian dishes can be enjoyed at Tamarind or relish up gourmet lunches and dinner entrees at Lido.

The Greenhouse spa & Salon welcomes those with tense muscles to relax and rejuvenate. Featuring a hydrotherapy pool with seawater, heated ceramic lounge and Turkish bath, private treatment rooms and a menu of body, hair and nail treatments.

Fitness classes are also available, from Yoga and Pilates to indoor cycling and cardio circuit training. As well as keeping up with your fitness regime, you can enjoy various activities on board such as cooking classes, shopping, wine tasting and cocktail classes, join a digital workshop by Windows or head to the explorations café with audio and video programs, such as puzzles and reading materials. The evening ambience on board Holland America Line is electrifying, with live music, diverse lounges, movies and casino games.
  • ms amsterdam

    ms Amsterdam boasts of a three-story atrium, Dutch heritage, contemporary touches and a plethora of public places to spend your days and evenings at sea. The modern ms Amsterdam ship can accommodate up to 1,380 passengers, with a crew count of 615.

    Four room categories aboard ms Amsterdaml Interior, Ocean-View, Vista Suites and the Neptunes suites. Each room is designed with warm and inviting furnishings and colour palettes, with modern amenities such as a DVD library, one-touch telephone concierge service and binoculars to savour those amazing views from afar! The Pinnacle Suites offer extraordinary living spaces, with 1,159 sq. ft. with a living room, dining room, dressing room, private verandah, pantry, luxury bathroom with whirlpool bathtub and floor-to-ceiling windows. If you’re looking for a more budget-friendly option, the Interior suites offer 182 sq. ft. of living space with a spa-like shower, Egyptian cotton towels and deluxe bed linen and bathrobes. The Vista suites offer 292 sq. ft. of space and include various modern amenities such as a mini-bar, whirlpool bathtub, private verandah and floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing wonderful sceneries.
  • ms Eurodam

    Sailing since 2008, ms Eurodam is a mid-size ship with 11 passenger decks and a new Italian restaurant. State-of-the-art navigation and safety systems are just some of the innovative features that this ship offers. ms Eurodam has a crew member of 929 and a passenger capacity of 2,104.

    There are a host of elegant dining options on board ms Eurodam, from steakhouse grills, to Italian delicacies. 24-hour in room dining is also available on a complimentary basis, with just a simple phone call away.

    Ship facilities include a hydro pool, fitness center, culinary arts center, casino, lido pool and cabanas and thermal spa.

    Interior, Ocean-view, Verandah, Signature Suites and Neptunes Suites all offer a comfy oasis on the ms Eurodam ship. The Ocean-view rooms span between 169 and 267 sq. ft. and include bathrobes; video on demand interactive TV system and premium massage showerheads. Alternatively, opt for theVerandah Suites, which feature wonderful views from the furnished balcony, as well as offering opulent amenities such as floor-to-ceiling windows, bathtub and shower and a queen size bed.
  • ms Koningsdam

    ms Koningsdam is a new fledging to the Holland America Line fleet, with a guest capacity of 2,650. There are 7 stateroom categories onboard; Pinnacle Suite, Neptune Suite, signature Suite, Vista Suite, Spa Verandah, Family Ocean-view and Verandah. Enjoy large spacious suites and staterooms with wonderful views out to sea. The Family Ocean-View is a wonderful option for families and groups cruising together, with additional closet space and two showers. For a more private room, opt for the Interior stateroom, offering plenty of space and amenities. If you’re looking to really indulge, stay in the Spa Veranda; equipped with modern amenities and situated near the ships lavish Spa.

    There are 12 dining experiences to enjoy aboard ms Koningsdam and 13 entertainment hubs to enjoy such as the casino, Queen’s Lounge, Billboard Onboard, Lincoln stage and the World Stage. As well as offering a plethora of entertainment experiences, ms Koningsdam features a range of various activities to fill up your time at sea. Get a pampering session at Greenhouse Spa & Salon, learn new skills in the Digital Workshop, take advantage of the kids and youth programs or burn calories in the fitness centre.
