Kapama River LodgeSituated on a scenic bend of the Kapama River, this expansive luxury lodge is home to 64 40 sumptuously furnished suites and 20 spa suites, as well as family rooms and 2 opulent Royal Suites. The suites come with private patios and fully equipped en-suite bathrooms, while the delightfully secluded spa suites afford you with uninterrupted bush views. Each of the 70sqm family rooms comes with triple balconies and they can accommodate two extra beds for children if required. Last but not least the Royal Suites consist of a lavish bedroom, a gleaming modern bathroom, separate lounge and extended balcony.
Kapama Southern CampThis remarkable new lodge is named for its location in a tranquil southern corner of the park. Southern Camp boasts 15 suites with private patios and full en-suite bathrooms, as well as Luxury Suites that come with romantic fireplaces, private lap pools and indoor and outdoor showers. There are also 3 Family Luxury Suites with a lap pool, patio and separate connected bedroom for children, complete with bathroom.
Kapama Buffalo CampModeled on the traditional camps of the past, but with an array of modern luxuries, the reserve’s Buffalo Camp provides luxury tented accommodation for guests keen to connect with the beauty and wildness of the bush. There are 10 tented suites to choose from in total, connected by wooden walkways and featuring wooden floors and charming leather and dark wood accents. Each one boasts an en-suite bathroom, double or twin beds and such luxury amenities as Nespresso coffee machines and well-stocked mini bars.
Kapama KarulaThe most opulent form of accommodation in the reserve is this spectacular lodge, which is located on the banks of picturesque Klaserie River. There are 12 superior suites awaiting guests here, each one boasting a spacious outside deck with sun loungers and heated swimming pool, while indoors you benefit from a lavish en-suite bathroom, gas-heated fireplace, well-stocked mini bar and Nespresso coffee machine. Two of the suites are geared up for families, with two bedrooms, two en-suite bathrooms, an open-plan lounge and private outside deck with large swimming pool.
Kapama Southern Camp: guests staying at this lodge will benefit from a pristine outdoor pool and pool deck, as well as a tastefully furnished lounge, a wine cellar, open-sided dining room and a boma.
Kapama Buffalo Camp: in between game drives and bush walks, guests can unwind around the rim-flow swimming pool with its comfortable loungers or head to the cosy lounge to curl up with a good book or indulge in some bird watching.
Kapama Karula: there is a stylish open-plan lounge and bar at Karula, where guests can mingle and unwind in cosy comfort. The camp also features a dining room and charming library with two internet stations.
As well as the impressive facilities provided for guests by the reserve’s luxury lodges, Kapama is also home to a breathtaking wellness centre, one of the best of its kind in Africa.
