Tambo del Inka is nestled in Urubamba, a town in the Sacred Valley, with incredible mountain scenery, salt pools and a charming river that runs through the town. The location of Tambo del Inka sets the hotel apart, where you can enjoy the localities of the town and feel part of the community.

There are a total of 128 rooms including 12 suites at Tambo del Inka, with cozy interiors and tropical garden views for a tranquil stay in Sacred Valley.
  • Superior Room

    Superior Rooms measure 441 sq. ft. with a spacious bedroom with king or twin beds and a walk-in closet. The bathroom features a separate bathtub and shower as well as Gilchrist & Soames amenities, slippers and bathrobes. The sun-kissed balcony is the perfect way to start your morning with a fresh coffee in hand. Amenities include a 32-inch LCD satellite TV and iPod docking station.
  • Deluxe Room

    The Deluxe Rooms measure 441 sq. ft. with a private terrace offering breathtaking views. Each Deluxe Room features modern interiors, with a spacious bedroom with a king or twin beds and walk-in closet. The bathroom is open and airy with a separate shower and bathtub accompanied with Gilchrist & Soames amenities, bathrobes and slippers. Amenities include a 32-inch LCD satellite TV and iPod docking station.
  • Junior Suites

    Junior Suites measure 753 sq. ft. with a furnished balcony or terrace. The open plan bedroom and sitting area features a king bed (two queen beds can be requested), a large couch and coffee table. The spa-like bathroom features a separate windowed shower and tub, double sinks, Gilchrist & Somanes amenities, bathrobes and slippers. Butler service is available in the room category if you wish to use this service. Amenities include a 42-inch LCD TV and DVD player.
  • Senior Suites

    Senior Suites measure 883 sq. ft. with a spacious living room boasting of a 42-inch LCD TV, iPod docking station and high-speed Wi-Fi. The dining area offers seating for up to 6 guests, whilst the bedroom is complete with a king size Simmons Hotel Beautyrest bed and a 32-inch LCD TV. The spa-like master bathroom features a separate windowed shower, whirlpool tub with Gilchrist & Soames bath amenities, double sinks and plush robes and slippers. There is also a second half-bathroom.

Facilities

In between thrilling adventures in Sacred Valley, relax those muscles in The Spa at Tambo del Inka, with an array of body treatments including therapy massage, Shiatsu massage, back relaxation therapy, reflexology, Thai massage, firming coca massage, facial for him and Yucamani stone massage. Spa facilities include heated indoor and outdoor pools, whirlpools, Vichy and jet showers, sub-aquatics beds and hydrotherapy treatments. There are 12 treatment rooms including VIP rooms for couples massage and a hair salon. A women’s only area is available for privacy.

A private train station was created since the opening of Tambo del Inka to route to Machu Picchu. You’ll pass spectacular scenery such as Cordillera Vilcanota, archaeological sites and small farming communities. The train station is open between 6-10am and 4-8pm.

For relaxation in between meals and excursions, the Dual Zones in the resort feature superior swimming pools that surround wide glass windows offering enchanting views of the Vilcanota River.

Within Tambo del Inka you will find a fully equipped fitness center with free weights and cardiovascular equipment, a business centre with 24-hour self-service including 5 computer work stations, printer and high speed internet. A game room is available for children and adults, with board games, a pool table, Sony Playstation and Nintendo Wii.

Families can make use of the SPG Kids Pass all-inclusive dining program with a variety of dining options for a flat daily rate (ages 12 years and younger).
  • Hawa Restaurant

    Hawa Restaurant offers elegant dining options for breakfast, lunch and dinner, sourcing locally farmed ingredients. Enjoy breakfasts, with options such as gluten-free and detoxifying options and succulent dinners such as loin of lamb and quinoa champagne soufflé.
  • Kiri Bar

    Kiri Bar is open from 11am until 11pm with an impressive gin and tonic menu, handcrafted snacks and tropical beverages such as Pisco Sour, orange juice and cocktails.
