Overview

The Catalonia Riviera Resort and Spa is perfectly situated on the beach in a really attractive part of Riviera Maya – close to the marina and is a fun holiday destination for all age groups. There are plenty of facilities and events taking place at the hotel or at its sister hotel Catalonia Yucatan Beach next door both during the day or in the evening, but for those who prefer there is the chance to take life at a slower pace and enjoy a beautiful meal in one of the restaurants followed by a walk along the shore in the moonlight.

Room Types

All the rooms are stylish and comfortable. They each have a furnished balcony/terrace, Inside there is cable TV, coffee making facilities, mini bar with daily replenished water bottles and air conditioning. The bathrooms are stylish and either have a walk in shower or bath. There is complimentary Wi-Fi throughout.

Garden View Room

With either a king size bed or two doubles, this attractive room has 35m² of floor area. The balcony is perfect for resting with a good book.
Privilege Superior Room

Tastefully decorated and furnished in a modern style, this room has 48m² of floor area so is very spacious. There is a living area with plasma LCD TV and a ceiling fan as well as air conditioning. There is a king size bed or two doubles. Bathrobes and slippers are provided.

Guests in Privilege Rooms have the use of the Exclusive Lounge, à la carte breakfasts and dinner and discounts on Spa treatments.
Privilege Suite

This fabulous room has a floor area of 80m² and is luxuriously decorated and furnished and this includes an attractive living area and dressing room plus two plasma LCD TVs. There is a king size bed and one sofa bed and a lovely duplex spa bath on the balcony or terrace.

Facilities

With five swimming pools to choose from an plenty of comfortable sun loungers, If you have young children in your family, there are two children's pools. Catalonia Riviera is definitely perfect for those who want to simply relax. There is the attractive Alegria Spa and beauty centre offering a fabulous range of treatments. There are regular aerobics and aquarobic sessions and a really good gym.

For those who enjoy sport there is tennis, water polo, volleyball and beach soccer. Water sports include snorkelling and kayaking. For children there is a fun Kids Club with an action-packed programme.

There is something of interest being organised both during the day and at night for all ages.

Restaurants

The hotel has five speciality restaurants that run a variety of different theme nights each week. Each restaurant offers different cuisines from around the world that are made using the freshest local ingredients. Each restaurant has been carefully decorated to be very individual and those that are indoors are air conditioned for customer comfort. The restaurants and five bars are shared with the Catalonia Yucatan Beach Resort & Spa next door. There are also five bars for relaxing over a drink or speciality cocktail and just enjoying the magic of the Mexican Caribbean.

La Brisa

This attractive outdoor restaurant has wooden tables and chairs, flooring and ceiling and a stunning view over the sea. There are various themed buffets and breakfast, lunch and dinner is served here.
El Mercado

Cool and inviting, this indoor restaurant is air conditioned and offers meals throughout the day – international buffet style dinners feature all the classic favourites.
Bamboleo

Bamboleo is a fun poolside snack bar by day and a great informal steak bar at night.
The Creperie

Whether you enjoy sweet or savoury crepes, there is nothing better than sharing one outside in the evening under a galaxy of stars.
Bellavista á la carte

Delicious Italian cuisine to enjoy in the evening in this elegant air conditioned restaurant.
