Half Day City Tour of Lima

Spend your first full day in Lima embarking on a half-day city tour, which will commence in the shopping district of Larcomar, situated on the coast of the Pacific. You will then be driven to the residential Miraflores District, in which you’ll discover the incredible Huaca Pucllana. Gaze up at the majestic clay formations dating back to 200-700 A.D, that were once high rise pyramids. Your next stop is the El Olivar Park, an ancient olive plantation in the San Isidro district. From here, you will be taken to Lima’s historical downtown, which is declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the colourful colonial buildings in the main square, with government buildings and palaces. You will get the chance to visit the oldest construction within the square, which is Saint Francis’ Church, that holds an extensively large collection of old books. The tour will end either at your hotel, Larcomar, or the Indian Market.

Colca Canyon Tour to Puno

Your second day exploring Colca Canyon begins at Condor Cross, with magnificent sights of the Colca Valley for you to observe. After sightseeing the world’s deepest Canyon, you will be taken to a collection of towns; Pinchollo, Maca, Achomas and Yanque, followed by scenic viewpoints at Antahuilque and Choquetico. After lunch, you will get to explore Choquetico town in depth, homing pre-Inca structures in Chininia Colcas. After, you will explore more viewpoints in Ocolle and the Amphitheater, where you can partake in an optional hike to discover the incredible Uyo-Uyo archaeological remains. You will be taken back to Chivay in the afternoon by transfer.

Half day walking city tour of Cusco

The half-day walking tour begins in Cusco’s main square, Aucaypata Square. Journey through time with an ancient presence of temples and buildings, you will understand the original design of the square, which will be shown through audio, info graphics and photographic material. After, you will head to Regocijo Square, also known as Cusipata Square; here you will learn about the functions performed in the Qosqo Inca times. Your tour continues at Fransico Square, home to churches, modern and ancient structures and the National College of sciences. From here, you will visit San Pedro Market where you can treat yourself to traditional purchases such as street food, fresh fruit and vegetables, traditional Pachamama Dolls and handmade accessories. Following the San Pedro Market, you will stop off at either Santa Catalina or Temple of the Virgins. The tour continues to the Stone of 12 Angles, a stone that has 12 Angles that fit perfectly in the surrounding rocks. Your tour ends at San Blas, a bohemian neighbourhood where panoramic views of the city can be seen.

Once you arrive at Aguas Calientes Station you will meet your local travel guide, who will take you to the entrance of Machu Picchu citadel, take in the spectacular views as your guide explains the ins and outs of this archaeological gem. You will be taken to Inkaterra Machu Pichu in the afternoon for lunch before departing back to your hotel in Aguas Calientes.
