OVERVIEW

Kuala Lumpur is the heart and capital of Malaysia and the ideal location for your city getaway where your Malaysia holiday will be packed full of excitement, shopping and delicious cuisine.

Year round warm temperatures and a tropical climate make Malaysia a great honeymoon destination at any time of the year; however the monsoon season usually takes place around November to February bringing heavier rainfall.

The modern Kuala Lumpur City Centre is home to many of the city’s luxury hotels where your Kuala Lumpur holiday will be based. The iconic Petronas Towers dominate the city’s skyline and are the tallest twin structures on earth, rising up 88 storeys into the Malaysian skies.

For couples searching for a breath taking bird’s eye view of this magical city during their honeymoon, the Sky Bridge which connects the two tours at the 41st and 42nd floors, 175 metres above street level is the place to be with beautiful views over the streets, buildings and parks below.

There is plenty to see and do during your Kuala Lumpur honeymoon with a variety of attractions including the city’s aquarium, Aquaria KLCC, and the beautifully landscaped KLCC Park that extend out over 50 acres to the south east of the towers.

Shopping lovers will find heaven in Kuala Lumpur, especially in Bukit Bintang where there are many shopping malls and eateries in the area. Bargain hunters should head to the vibrant Petaling Street, the main strip of Kuala Lumpur’s popular Chinatown district where you will wander through the stalls and haggle down prices.

Climate

Kuala Lumpur is blessed with warm weather all year round, however some months carry more rainfall than others and it is November that brings the wettest spells of weather, although any showers or downpours are usually happen during the morning, rainfall can happen on 20 days of a single month. March represents the hottest month of the year, but there is very little deviant in average temperature across the seasons. The dry season is officially from May to September so these months are more desirable than the months in the so called monsoon season.
